FWP News: Hunting for mountain lions closes in Lion Management Units 204, 304, 421 and 448

HELENA – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, the hunting of mountain lions will close or have already closed in the following Lion Management Units (LMU): LMU 421 for male mountain lion on Sunday, Feb. 11 LMU 204 for female mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12 LMU 304 for female mountain lion…

HELENA – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, the hunting of mountain lions will close or have already closed in the following Lion Management Units (LMU):

  • LMU 421 for male mountain lion on Sunday, Feb. 11
  • LMU 204 for female mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12
  • LMU 304 for female mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12
  • LMU 448 for male mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12

These closures do not affect Limited Special License holders.
