HELENA – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, the hunting of mountain lions will close or have already closed in the following Lion Management Units (LMU):
- LMU 421 for male mountain lion on Sunday, Feb. 11
- LMU 204 for female mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12
- LMU 304 for female mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12
- LMU 448 for male mountain lion one-half hour after sunset today, Feb. 12
These closures do not affect Limited Special License holders.
