Lakeridge Lodging & Bait Shop shared an update (Feb. 17, ~6:30 p.m.) warning that the ice “did not make it” and the lake is blown open with no safe access. More updates are expected after the storm passes.
A message from Lakeridge Lodging and Bait Shop as of February 17th at approximately 6:30PM:
The ice did not make it.
The lake has been blown open!
No safe access or ice.
We will update everyone again after the storm passes.
Yes we do have colder temps coming but winds this strong and the lake blown open already it does not look like there will an ice season left. We will keep everyone posted of course and please be safe.
