Montana 2026 Hunting Regulations Available Now

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has released the 2026 hunting regulations for deer, elk, antelope, and moose, sheep, goat, and bison. Hunters should review them online before the application period.

Hunters, it’s time to get a jump on the season—the 2026 “Deer, Elk, Antelope” and “Moose, Sheep, Goat, Bison” hunting regulations are officially live on the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks website.

Giving them a look now is the smart move if you want to plan ahead, avoid surprises, and be fully dialed before the application period opens. Just a heads-up: for now, the regs are online only, with printed copies coming later.

Until then, grab a cup of coffee, start scheming your fall hunting plans, and check them out here: https://fwp.mt.gov/hunt/regulations
