Gallatin Gateway’s 370 CFS and Fishing Gold Report

Here are the flies the pros are throwing right now (and you should, too)…

Flowing at 370 CFS at Gallatin Gateway, the Gallatin continues to be a solid fall fishing spot, according to The Rivers Edge on November 20, 2025. The warmer weather is keeping some dry fly action alive, but you really can’t go wrong with a trusty double nymph rig. Throw a stonefly imitation followed by a smaller nymph into deep pockets or slower runs, and you are in for some consistent takes. Top flies right now are Pat’s Rubberlegs Black #10, Jig Frenchie #14, Parachute Adams #20, Zebra Midge Black #16, and the ever-reliable Autumn Splendor #6.
