Nothing beats a Montana fall morning, especially when you’re raising young hunters who are already stacking up milestones. Her younger boy tagged his very first deer while out with Dad, and meanwhile she took her oldest out…where he dropped his buck in under 10 minutes and less than 50 yards.
Getting the youngins out in the field is what it’s all about — passing on the traditions, the patience, the respect for the land, and those big grins you only get after a successful hunt.
