Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 7.3.25

Fishing has been hot all around this week!

Walleye-Weed lines on main lake and secondary points were good for us this week. Small prop blades or a single bead in front of a slow death hook with a crawler was the deal.

Pike-Lots of northerns up shallow still. Casting spoons and shallow diving crankbaits inside the weed edges on shallow flats worked well.

Lakers-We found most of our fish in 95-115 feet along gradual drop offs. 3/4 ounce jigs and Kietech 4.8” paddletails worked the best.

Salmon-Flasher/Fly combos still catching most of our fish. Best depth was 60-90 feet running speeds of 2.0-2.2.
