Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 7.10.25

Walleye, lake trout, and salmon are all on the bite!

Walleye – Bottom bouncers along weed edges on main lake and secondary points are still catching a lot of fish, 12–16 feet with a single prop blade or a single bead. If the fish were small, we moved out a little deeper.

Lake trout – We found most of our fish this week in 105–125 FOW. 3/4 ounce jig heads and Keitech 4.8 sightflash color paddletails did the job for us, worked 8–10 feet off bottom.

Salmon – Pretty good bite this past week trolling flasher/fly combos from 30 feet down to 80 feet at a speed of 2.1–2.2. Chrome panel flashers and silver or blue/green mix flies were the deal.
