Nelson Reservoir Gives Up Walleyes During Tough Bite Monday

Cold front or not, the code was cracked on Nelson Reservoir!

The following report is by Lars Sorensen:

Don Jamison, Gary Rueb and the Captain joined me for a full day on Nelson Reservoir. A full day of laughs, camaraderie, and most importantly a full day of fishing!

The cold front definitely slowed down the fishing from this past weekend, but we still managed to take home 13 solid walleye from 20-24”.

It took many small adjustments throughout the day to get them dialed it, but pitching a white hair jig tipped with a crawler was definitely the right move today!

If you interested in a trip to catch walleye, pike and/or perch, give Joe or I a call!
