Harrison Lake was closed until further notice beginning Wednesday night as law enforcement conducted a water search for a missing person.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office shared the following:
On June 18, 2025, at approximately 17:20, the Madison County Communication Center received a report of a missing water recreationist at Harrison Lake (Willow Creek Reservoir) outside of Harrison, Montana. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office activated a water search.
The search is being conducted by: Madison Valley Search and Rescue, Ruby Valley Search and Rescue, Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Gallatin County Search and Rescue, Madison Valley Medical Center, Madison Valley Fire, Harrison Fire, and Life Flight Network.
The search is ongoing and we ask you to stay clear of the search area.
