Going Fishing for a Day of Family Fun on June 7th

Get ready to reel in the fun!!!

Grab the tackle box and sunscreen—Kids Fishing Day is casting off again this year at Laurel Pond on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hosted by the Montana Pike Masters Billings Chapter, this free, family-friendly event is part of the Annual Leonard Lawver Memorial and is open to all kids 16 and younger.

It’s okay if you’re a little angler is a seasoned pro or just trying out fishing for the very first time, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, reel in some memories, and even walk away with prizes. There’ll also be food and fun throughout the day to keep the fun going and bellies full.

Poles will be available for checkout until 2 p.m., and here’s the best part—no fishing license is required for this event. Just bring the kids, a little patience, and a lot of excitement.

Mark your calendar, invite the neighbors, and come celebrate the joys of fishing, community, and a beautiful Montana day at the pond.

See you at Laurel Pond on June 7th!
