Go To Camp Meal

Getting to camp takes effort—but the real adventure starts when someone asks, “What’s for dinner?” More from Montana Grant here…

Montanan’s love camping in the great outdoors. There is something special about the trees, water, critters, and of course a campfire. It may take time to get to your favorite campsite. This means a long drive, drift, paddle, hike, bike, or wheeler ride. Once there, the same question will always come up.

“What’s For Dinner?” If you are a prepared camper, this is no big deal. You have planned, prepped, and staged a perfect meal. The meal can be heated /cooked in a hurry and hungry, growling campers will be happy once more.

What tasty meal is your fast, easy, and filling campout dinner?

  • Hot Dogs and Beans
  • Can Chilli, corn chips, and rolls
  • Can Ravioli and butter bread
  • Can Dinty More and butter bread
  • Tacos
  • Sloppy Joes on rolls with tater tots

After a fast and filling dinner, the next cry will be for dessert. Maybe a premade bag of cookies or brownies or…

  • S’Mores
  • Cobbler in a Dutch Oven
  • Pineapple upside down cake

Once the bellies are fat and full, the campers can enjoy a peaceful slumber, once the fire goes out. In the morning, it all begins again. “What’s for Breakfast?”

Bon appetite!
