Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 6.26.25

From shallow smallies to deep-water lakers and a few bonus Chinook—Fort Peck’s bite is on across all depths this week!

Walleye-Bottom  bouncers with crawlers and slow death hooks worked well this past week, as well as casting jigs and minnows,12-18 feet on main lake points, was best for us.

Smallmouth-We found some good smallies on rocky structure in 14-20 FOW. Jigs/minnows and slip bobbers with minnows and crawlers caught some good-sized fish.

Lakers-Most of the fish are out deep now. Best numbers were on deep flats between points in 95-115 FOW. Jigs and 4.8” paddletails were the deal.

Salmon-We managed to catch a few Chinook this week trolling flasher/fly combos. Chrome panel flashers and flies that were a blue/green mix worked best running 55-75 feet deep at 2.1-2.2 MPH.
