Bridge Washout Blocks Route to Slippery Ann

Heads up, anglers: A MORS follower reported a closure due to a bridge washout—plan your paddlefishing routes accordingly!

A helpful tip from a MORS follower has brought an important access update for anyone heading to the Upper Missouri for paddlefishing.

According to the report, the access road to Slippery Ann is currently closed due to a bridge washout about 2 miles east of the main highway. The issue was discovered over Memorial Day weekend while paddlefishing near the Fred Robinson Bridge.

This serves as a good reminder that not all roads in the area are open, and anglers should plan their routes carefully. If Slippery Ann is part of your destination, check in with local land management agencies or the BLM for up-to-date road and access conditions.

Big thanks to the MORS community for keeping fellow anglers in the loop. Keep the tips coming—and travel safe out there!
