According to MeatEater.com, a strong outcry from hunters, anglers, and public land advocates just convinced House Republicans to pull a provision from the budget bill that would’ve allowed the sale of up to 500,000 acres of federal land. It’s a big win—but the fight’s not over. The Senate could still try to bring it back, and advocates are calling on the public to stay loud.
