HELENA – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, the hunting of all black bears in Bear Management Unit (BMU) 530 will close one half hour after sunset Friday May 30th, 2025.
The black bear quota for the spring season in this BMU has been met. For more information, visit FWP’s website here to check the current quota status, or call the toll-free quota line at 1-800-385-7826.
