Three bears killed after woman bitten, dragged from porch

The bears reportedly had previously broken into a vehicle to access groceries and damaged it so badly it was totaled.

Three bears were killed this week after a woman was bitten and dragged from her porch.

According to Paxton Media, the incident occurred in the Gatlinburg area of Tennesee.

The report states authorities found one adult bear and one yearling near the home after they were called to the report of an attack on Thursday. A second yearling was found in a trap that was placed there after previous encounters.

The bears reportedly had broken into a vehicle that had groceries inside and caused damage so extensive it was deemed a total loss.
