It might not look super exciting on the surface, but this is actually a pretty incredible setup. Jensen Drilling Company out of Oregon has installed a series of dewatering wells around the site to keep it dry while crews excavate the footprint for the new structure.

As you can see, the water collected by the wells is currently being diverted into the bypass channel to keep work moving safely and efficiently.

This project is tucked right between the St. Mary Canal and the St. Mary River, so dewatering is a big deal — stay tuned, big progress is coming this summer!!
