Fort Peck Reservoir Forecast for Water Elevation

Big changes are ahead for Fort Peck—see what the latest forecast means for water levels and flow projections this summer!

According to data from USACE, with average precipitation patterns, projections indicate that the Fort Peck’s water elevation will reach approximately 2,230 feet by June. Check out the attached reservoir forecast and three-week outlook. USACE won’t be running test flows this year for the pallid sturgeon recovery study, but, based on the current forecast, peak discharges will hit 12,000 CFS from June through September.
