Don Wilkins’ Fort Peck Fishing Report 3.6.25

With warming temps changing the game, Don Wilkins is shifting gears and looking ahead to open water—stay tuned for updates!

The ice season for us is over now after the warm weather this past week. We planked out and had a few tip-ups in for a couple days but took them out yesterday and wrapping it up to get ready for some open water fishing.

There are still a few people planking out to the ice in spots, but I would advise extreme caution if venturing out on Fort Peck now. After this coming weekend, there will most likely be no safe ice left out there. Stay safe everyone, and hopefully we have some open water reports soon!
