Chasing Grayling and Cleaning Up at Rogers

The grayling bite was hot at Rogers Lake—but Tyler Hicks found more than just fish on the ice.

Tyler Hicks has an update for the Flathead Valley Fishing Report group, and this time he has the scoop on a red-hot grayling bite at Rogers Lake. Along with the fishing action, he’s also calling out a troubling trend he spotted on the ice. Check out his full report and photos:

Grayling bite was on fire this morning at Rogers before sunrise. Tapered off to nothing by 9:30 AM. You’ll need wading boots or boards to get on the ice and stay dry though. Also picked up a 5 gallon bucket worth of garbage on the ice. Seriously can’t imagine leaving your garbage on the ice like that.
