A Rare DOE Harvest

When this hunter pulled the trigger, he thought he had a buck…

The Hunting Report recently shared a photo that shows a young hunter who harvested a truly unique deer last year. This particular doe, remarkably, had antlers that remained in velvet and grew so large that they eventually obstructed vision in its right eye. A rare and fascinating example of antlered does in the wild, this harvest is undoubtedly a once-in-a-lifetime trophy!
