Hey, this is Bart at Capital Sports with the weekly fishing report for the Helena area. We’re still waiting for ice on Hauser, Holter, and Canyon Ferry. There just isn’t safe ice to to get out on yet on any of those 3, but we do have some good fishing available below the dams. The folks fishing below Canyon Ferry Dam for ling with their cut bait, usually sucker meat have been doing quite well . The folks below Hauser have been doing quite well fishing with lures for trout. Both the Rainbows and the Browns have been willing lately. And then the folks fishing below, Holter Dam either fly fishing or fishing with lures for the rainbows have been doing very well. So we’re still anxiously awaiting the ice. Hopefully, We’ll see it within a week or two, but in the meantime, stop in and see me at Capital Sports for any of your fishing needs.
