Jay Burger, an avid hunter who also happens to be a professional bass fisherman, thought opening day of firearm season in Indiana was going to be all about patiently waiting for that perfect deer, according to Whiskey Riff. Turns out, the world had other plans. Instead of antlers in his crosshairs, Jay found himself front row to a real-life action movie—a high-speed police chase barreling right through his hunting spot.

Talk about a plot twist. One second, it’s just him and the great outdoors, the next, it’s Fast & Furious: Hoosier Edition. The getaway driver, in a questionable moment of clarity, veered off-road into the dirt. Spoiler alert: they learned the hard way that cop cars handle better than minivans. Jay captured the whole wild scene from his box blind, and unsurprisingly, his footage is going viral faster than a deer bolting at the snap of a stick.
