Lake Trout-Lakers are up shallow in several places around the lake now with some large numbers schooled up on shallow points in 20-55 feet of water, casting and vertical jigging with green, orange, and red 3/4 ounce jig heads with white paddletails caught the most fish and trolling crankbaits also caught some fish trolling at 2.5-2.8 mph

Smallmouth Bass-1/4 ounce jigs and smaller with plastics and slip bobbers and minnows are still catching plenty of fish,we found bigger fish deeper than 20 feet this past week out to 30 feet with smaller fish mixed in

Pike-lots of pike cruising the weed beds still being caught with spoons and spinners,we also picked up some nice fish trolling crankbaits, some shallow on planer boards and some with deep running crankbaits trolled along secondary points at 2.0-2.2 mph

Water temp on the main part of the lake was near 55 last week with some temps in the back bays a few degrees cooler
