Brian Olson from the Brian Olson Outdoor Report, Don “Almost”Jamison who almost caught the new Montana State Record salmon this past summer and the Captain went on Nelson Reservoir Wednesday in search for the elusive walleye.

They found em in 25-35 feet of water fishing the humps in the reservoirs drop off.

Different color jig n raps were the ticket. The bite would come on and then shut down as the fish moved in and out.

Dress warm the next few days. Fishing should be good as the water cools down.  Currently, the surface water temp is 52 degrees.
