The fishing is starting to get more unpredictable and a bit slower and the fish seem to be confined to smaller areas near flat lake, the dam,and immediately west and east of the marina, the bite has been good one day and then very quiet the next which is pretty normal as we get into the first couple weeks of September so if you find fish keep working them until they decide they want to bite

Chrome based flashers in 8” and 11” still are taking the most fish with flies being the most popular for the bigger fish and some smaller jacks being caught on the Brads black jack mini at depths of 60-90 feet and speed of 1.9-2.1

The fishing will most likely continue to slow down over the next couple weeks and pulling bright crankbaits in 30-50 feet of water will probably start to produce some fish soon as the water temp cools off.
