Fresno is 41% full, inflow 556 cfs & outflow 42 cfs. Most fish are in the spawning mode. Look for gravelly areas and pitch 1/8 oz perch colored jigs tipped with a crawler in 6-12’ of water for best results. Nelson is 97% full, inflow 172 cfs & 0 outflow. Most fish are in the…

Fresno is 41% full, inflow 556 cfs & outflow 42 cfs. Most fish are in the spawning mode. Look for gravelly areas and pitch 1/8 oz perch colored jigs tipped with a crawler in 6-12’ of water for best results.

Nelson is 97% full, inflow 172 cfs & 0 outflow. Most fish are in the spawning mode. Throw jigs tipped with live minnows after you locate fish using your electronics. I look for gravelly shorelines, keeping my boat in about 15’ of water fishing in as shallow as 2’. Avoid the windy shorelines this time of year as the water will be colder and tends to hinder the bite.
