Josh Newsted, of Kalispell, went fishing at Fort Peck last week with a group of family and friends which included a friend from northern Michigan and his dad, brother and another friend, who all live in great falls.  Josh and his party caught about 40 walleye in total over three days.  The first day, when they caught the big two (pictured above and below), they fished with Jason Mindel of Ripp n Lipps charter. The other days, they fished on their own.

The pictured fish consist of Josh with a 31-inch, 13-pounder, and his friend caught a 29-inch, 9-pounder.  Both of the fish were released after some “big smiles” and a couple of pictures.

Awesome catches!
