A Wisconsin woman, Jackie Anderson, discovered the monstrous turtle last year on the shore of a lake called Sand Lake in the Lake Superior Northwoods region, according to Kris Millgate via Field and Stream.
She wanted to make it very clear that she didn’t harm the animal in any way.
