Big crappies are being caught out in the basin regions in 25’ and deeper using small jigs.

Nelson walleye fishing remains good.

The best fishing is in the weed line areas using tip-ups with live minnows. Jigging, especially with jig raps, is also producing.  You will catch northerns on both presentations.

Perch fishing is slow in the basin areas north of the big island using perch jigs. Don’t be afraid to fish shallow 4’-6’ for walleye and northerns.
