Flathead Lake Perch and Bass Fishing

Local angler Ross Tate enjoyed a successful fishing outing on Flathead Lake’s East Bay with the Blevins brothers, praising their skills as they navigated productive waters and achieved an impressive haul.

Flathead Lake local Ross Tate reported a banner day of fishing this past Wednesday, noting that the waters of the East Bay were particularly generous. Joining Tate for the excursion were the Blevins brothers—the talented sons of Brian Blevins—who proved themselves to be formidable anglers throughout the outing. The group took advantage of the clear conditions, finding consistent success as they navigated the bay’s productive stretches.

Tate, a Missoula resident with a deep appreciation for Montana’s waterways, spoke highly of the young men’s technical skills and intuition on the lake.

Referring to them as “The Blevins Brothers,” he credited their sharp instincts for the day’s impressive haul. Reflecting on the trip, Tate remarked, “We did well Wednesday on the East Bay of Flathead Lake! Great fisherman they are!”

It was a standout performance on the water, marking another successful chapter for the trio in their pursuit of the region’s best fishing spots.
