Fort Peck’s Duck Creek Ice Report 2.5.26

Lakeridge Lodging reports about 6 inches of ice on Duck Creek at Fort Peck Reservoir. Shorelines are becoming unstable, urging safe walk-on access and caution during winter activities.

Here’s the latest ice check from Lakeridge Lodging and Bait Shop out on Duck Creek at Fort Peck Reservoir in Montana.

Fresh holes are still showing about 6 inches of ice, so things are holding—for now. That said, the shorelines around points are starting to get a little bendy, which is your friendly reminder that winter’s grip isn’t as solid as it once was.

Walk-on access is the call, take it slow, and as always, play it smart and stay safe out there.
