No fishing report this week, as we’ve put the boat away for the winter and are waiting to get out and check the ice on some spots this coming weekend.
The break has given us time to double-check all the terminal tackle on our tip-ups, the leaders, and mainline on the jigging rods, while making sure all our safety gear is in working order.
Nothing is harder on your electronics than a long season on the ice. Replacing batteries that are dated and checking that all the connections are secure will help minimize issues you encounter while out there.
