Feds Drop Nationwide Wolf Recovery Plan

The feds just called off a nationwide wolf recovery plan, saying gray wolves are doing just fine, but not everybody agrees…

Big news in the wild world of wolves, an article via Outdoor Life stated that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service just announced it’s shelving plans for a national wolf recovery program, saying gray wolves are doing just fine without federal protection. While that might be music to the ears of hunters, ranchers, and states like Montana that already manage their own wolf populations, it has wildlife advocates emotional…mostly angry. The feds say wolves have bounced back across much of the country, but critics argue they still have plenty of room to roam.
