Member of Gallatin County law enforcement community dies in hunting accident

On Saturday afternoon, the Broadwater County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hunting accident in Magpie Gulch where Gallatin County Detention Sergeant Michael Flohr was found deceased.

Today, the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center lost an icon in public safety.

On Saturday afternoon, the Broadwater County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hunting accident in Magpie Gulch where Gallatin County Detention Sergeant Michael Flohr was found deceased.

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is rallying around the entire Flohr family and pulling together as we mourn the loss of an exceptional leader, officer, husband, father and friend. We will never forget DC58.
