Attention Swan Permit Holders: If you harvest a swan, you must complete and return your bill card within 72 hours—this is a federally required regulation.
These cards help monitor swan harvest and ensure sustainable management. Drop boxes are available at Freezout Lake WMA, or you can mail it to FWP.
You must also complete the online survey even if you were unsuccessful or did not attempt to hunt. The survey can be found at this link: fwp.mt.gov/hunt/hunter-surveys
