The NE section of Yellowstone National Park park has been fishing well and has been surprisingly uncrowded.  Grey Drakes have been a good dry fly as of late. We also expect to see more BWO action as this weeks rainy / cloudy weather arrives. A small streamer might be a fun way to prospect water on a dark day as well.  If the sun pops back out then be sure to have a few PMD’s in your box as well as September Stones, hoppers, flying ants, and beetles.

If you can hike a little (3-6 miles), that opens a lot more doors for better fishing with less angling pressure. But even if you are unable to hike very far our guides know some stash waters closer to the road, let one of our guides show you the way!

Give us a call for the latest report or to book a trip! 1-406-222-7130.

Mike and Tony, each with a nice native Yellowstone Cutthroat!  Guide: Justin Todd
