Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 9.12.25

It was a great week on the water at Fort Peck!

Salmon-caught a few this week pulling Salmo and Rapala crankbaits in 45-55 FOW. Spot tailed shiner salmo and Tail Dancer TD 11 tire tiger worked the best for us.

Lake Trout-finding fish out deep still in 125-145 FOW. 3/4 ounce jig heads with Kietech 4.8” Sight Flash paddletails were the deal.

Walleye/Pike-had some success pulling bottom bouncers and crawlers for and caught  some bigger walleye pulling crankbaits in 25-35 FOW. Found some good Northern fishing casting spoons and shallow running crankbaits over shallow submerged weed beds.
