A man faces arson charges after allegedly sparking multiple fires in Utah, highlighting the serious risks—and legal consequences—of playing with fire during fire season…

A reminder of what not to do:

In southern Utah, authorities arrested a man after he allegedly started multiple fires along the Virgin River, prompting a wildfire that threatened homes in the valley between Hurricane and La Verkin. According to Fox13, firefighters from four agencies, with air support, were able to contain the Old Dump Fire before it reached residential areas. Neighbors reported witnessing the suspect lighting the fires and fleeing the scene on a bicycle. He was apprehended by police and now faces multiple arson charges. Officials emphasize that during fire season, intentionally setting fires is a serious crime with significant legal consequences.
