Big progress at the St. Mary Diversion Dam! NW Construction is racing against the clock (and the weather) to lay as much concrete as possible before winter hits. The site is buzzing with activity!
Easton Companies out of Bozeman is the subcontractor leading the concrete work, with SW Concrete from Cardston, Alberta, supplying the materials. This massive replacement—funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill—will be about the size of a football field and includes a new dam, headworks, and fish-friendly features to support the threatened Bull Trout in the St. Mary River.
