The Milk River Project Update 7.2.25

After traveling 170 km, St. Mary Diversion water is nearing the Pinhorn….

“As of this morning (July 2nd 2025), St Mary Diversion Water in the Milk River has passed the 880 Highway bridge and is heading towards the Pinhorn Ranch along the Ross Ranch! Since crossing the western Crossing of the North Fork Friday night, water has travelled approximately 170km, we are likely just over another day from seeing water cross the eastern crossing back into Montana. The water is a welcome sight for area ranchers and a parched aquatic ecosystem as temperatures reach the mid 30 degrees Celsius today!”
