The 2025 yellow and green tag paddlefish season came to a close on Sunday, June 15. Regulation changes for this year included shortening the season from June 30 to June 15, after which angling typically drops off and spawning activity picks up.

The final harvest estimate for the combination of yellow and green tags is 755 paddlefish, with two from the green tag area. Total tag sales from March 1-June 16 were 1,960 yellow and 12 green. The male/female harvest ratio was 301/276 or 54%/46%, respectively.
