Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 6.18.25

Walleye action is heating up in the weeds, pike are crushing baits in the new growth, and lake trout are biting deep…

Walleye – Found some good action for eaters this past week along weed edges in 8-13 FOW pulling crawlers with a slow death hook with either a single bead or small prop blade, Our bigger fish were caught with minnows in 14-25 feet.

Pike – Lots of northerns up in the new weeds that starting to grow. Casting spoons, jigs and minnows/plastics all worked well.

Lakers – 80-105 feet still seems to be the where we are finding most of our fish. 3/4 ounce green or red/white jig heads with a 4.8” Kietech paddle tail was the deal for us last week.

Good luck out there!
