St. Mary Diversion Dam Builds Momentum

Progress isn’t just at the siphon—big things are pouring ahead at the St. Mary Diversion Dam too…

The following update is from The Milk River Project:

“While most eyes are on the St. Mary Siphon, don’t forget—we’ve got major progress happening next door at the St. Mary Diversion Dam too!

NW Construction is leading the charge on this massive replacement, and things are moving fast. Easton Companies has been hard at work on the concrete test placements this week—completing the test slab and walls with strong results so far. Solid concrete, clean placement, and a great start to what’s ahead!

Jensen Drilling and NW Construction are also keeping dewatering systems running smoothly as spring runoff kicks in. And if all goes to plan, actual construction pours on the sluiceway approach slabs will begin next week.

Big thanks to everyone working hard out there—it’s happening!”
