Flow Data: Gallatin River near Gallatin Gateway, MT
The Gallatin is running high and dirty. It may drop and clear with the upcoming week of cold, wet weather. Nymphing with worms, large dark stonefly nymphs, and caddis nymphs will be the best option in the muddy water. Larger streamers like Sex Dungeons or Peanut Envy’s will also be good. Darker patterns seem to work best for me when the water color is off.
