Camp Clean and Smart at USACE Fort Peck Primitive Campgrounds

The USACE Fort Peck primitive campgrounds remain open…

The USACE Fort Peck primitive campgrounds remain open, according to a recent announcement on social media by USACE!

Fort Peck’s primitive campgrounds are open and ready for summer adventures—but with fewer boots on the ground from the staff side, it’s up to campers to carry the torch (and fully extinguish it, please).

Think of it as “leave no trace, plus a little extra grace.” Trash pickup might lag and maintenance may take a beat, but your good habits can fill the gap.

If you see something shady (like actual vandalism, not just your buddy’s weird tent setup), or resource issues, call the Fort Peck Natural Resource office at 406-526-3411. If you need urgent help, you know the drill—dial 911.

Be kind, camp smart, and help keep Fort Peck awesome.
