Echo Lake Big Sky Bass Bash results from April 26

Bass season just kicked off—and let’s just say, the opening weekend didn’t disappoint at the Echo Lake Big Sky Bass Bash…

The bass season blasted off with a bang last weekend, and if opening day is any sign of what’s to come, anglers are in for one heck of a ride. Here’s what Chancy and Dave’s Fish Camp shared:

Taking home top honors—and bragging rights—were Bryce Quinell & Hunter Gilleden, reeling in a whopping 21.04 lbs to snag 1st place and Big Fish with a beauty weighing in at 5.34 lbs. Not too shabby for their first tournament ever!

2nd place went to Steve Roth and Braxton, who hauled in an impressive 19.99 lbs—all smallmouth! That’s a serious sack of big brown bass.

Brothers Tyler & Garrett Frost grabbed 3rd place with 18.73 lbs, followed closely by Levi Ployhar and Ben Jore in 4th at 18.40 lbs. Rounding out the top five, Russ “Warty” Geldrich and Jake weighed in at 16.33 lbs.

Meanwhile, the Big Crappie title went to Jacob and Grady (BackWater Boys) with a chunky 1.69-pounder.

The weather held, the fish bit, and the season is officially on. If you’re looking to hook into something like this, swing by Chancy and Dave’s Fish Camp—they’ll help you find your next big bite.
