Ice update for the Dam area of Fort Peck 2.9.25

FYI

The following was provided by Fort Peck Marina three days ago:

Bays have 12 -14 inches of ice as always please check as you go and take extra caution when around pressure ridges

Main lake to York island

11-12 inches of ice. There are two main heaves accessing York/B marker. Guys with bridges have been crossing them on wheelers and snowmobiles have been crossing as well. Please use extreme caution around these heaves and check ice before attempting to cross them.

Laker fishing has been decent with lots of action on smaller fish in depths of 55-80 feet. Guys that are working hard and moving are finding schools of larger fish.

Fingers crossed the ice continues to grow and we will see some of these heaves heal
