How about your very own” Throne.” Grant Bench found a perfect use for dozens of old fishing rods. Every busted fishing rod has a story. Some were broken at the tip and others by the handles. Others were destroyed battling big bass or whales. Rather than throw them away, Grant repurposed them into his very own Game of Thrones knock off.
In the series Game of Thrones, the kingdom comes with a throne made of swords. Every sword also had a story. They were wielded by soldiers that fought and died bravely. A Dragon’s Fiery Breath welded them together. Every choice the King made involved fighting for and keeping their most important throne.
Grant Bench has battled and cast with the best warriors of the 7 fishing kingdoms. He has enjoyed the Trollers, Worm Dunkers, Fly Guys, Spin Casters, Icemen, Bass Bobbers, and Master Baiters. Of course, we all know that “Grants” are the Best Anglers.
Anglers certainly have earned their thrones. All of us have been through many rods, tackle, and hooks. We have battled through rainstorms, hail, wind, and blizzards in our Quest to catch a fish and be our Best! Who will be crowned the King of Fishing Kings? Too many Fishing Kings can ruin a great fishing hole.
